When we first arrived at Ithaca Manor in September 2003, we built a paddock fence, and run-in sheds and gathered up Achilles (a thoroughbred cross) and by spring 2004 our mare, Foulis Alicia, dropped her colt, Bold Bucephalus, who could trace his line back to Secretariat.

In September 2005, we added Holly's Athena, a thoroughbred mare in foal, and Diana's Hera, a filly, born to Holly's Athena on April 6, 2005.

We love small animals too. Argus was our curious beagle, but he's not with us any more. Patroclus is our Maine Coon cat. Homer and Kunos are our jack russells, and they had three new pups this Spring that are now being adopted. We have also had ferrets, gerbils, a chicken, a parakeet named Tahiti, and our dove Hermes.

Hacking Achilles!

It's hard being the prince of the Manor - Bold Bucephalus, coming of age, registered with the Jockey Club and under light training.

Holly's broodmare, Athena, covered last fall, and badly injured on the way home from Charlottesville, recovered, and then dropped a gorgeous paint foal.

Our newest arrival, Calypso, born of Athena, on April 15, 2008.

I am Patroclus, a Maine Coon cat, and I rule!

I'm Kunos and I'm the reason we had such cute pups!

I'm the older Jack Russell Terrier, Homer, and I arrived before Kunos, the lady of the house! But I do see some of me in the pups we just had.
